FAITH and JOY

Ascension's FAITH/JOY ministry was formed in 2015 and provides the opportunity for children in grades K-5 to have fun while learning about the richness of our faith. Meetings take place once a month on a Friday evening, unless otherwise noted.  Each  meeting consists of game and fellowship time, a lesson/craft and time to share a snack together.  Friendships formed in youth groups have a tendency to last a lifetime.  Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to meet new families and friends and participate in the life of the Church!  For more information, contact Desiree Petros or Presvytera Stefanie at faithjoyascension@gmail.com.

Faith/JOY will meet on a Friday evening once a month unless otherwise noted.   Upon signing up, there will be a place for Parent Volunteers (bringing and setting up snack or helping with a craft) for each gathering.  Due to the fact we meet on Fridays, we will always have a fast-worthy snack for our children.  More details will be given when you sign up to help.  Although your home fasting rules may be different, we encourage our children to begin learning about fast days, even from now. Fruits, veggies, crackers, and graham crackers are some good options.
